I decided to use a flat black baseboard for the floor mouldings. It will cover the base of the columns as well. Here are some of the details! Viewed: 398 times.

I needed to make some special cuts for the HVAC inlet. You can see where the paint hasn't quite dried yet! Viewed: 449 times.

An inside corner, this one was "coped".
Don't worry! The edges of the columns will be covered with a corner piece, and holes caulked and painted black. Viewed: 331 times.

Started the chair rail. I wanted an "antique" gold, not too dark! Here is the primed and the gold painted one.... Viewed: 273 times.
